this is a winter project

ok so here is the story.

i saw an ad for this thing on craigslist. guy wasnt asking a bad price. he sent me some pics and i can quickly tell the head gasket was blown.



ok, i have another daily driver (civic bitches) so hey, i have a winter project, cool, knock some money off. he did.

guy lives down town keep in mind, parked on the street.

ok so i get there, inspect it and i found alot of crap. dirty as hell, sqeaks, loud can, top doesnt work, speedo is broke, missing tons of pieces, ROCKER ARM BROKEN (how, i dont know but what ever, i took off the cover, no damage yet, will be taking off the head on wednesday)

on to the pics at my house before i touched it














plans?
get the engine running well, no leaks or sqeaks
lose the can for a stock pipe
get the convertible top working and all wires in correct spots
rear disk swap
slam it
paint
wheels and tires
other misc stuff that is broken

i wanna be done by the end of winter

i have a job and the gym to continue going to but i will update this thing many times per week prolly. i get time at least twice a week to hit the garage

if anyone has a spyder, please check in, i have wiring questions, many of them!

Damn, that thing is a neglected pile. They're nice cars when done right. What did you get it for? Good luck on the project, hopefully it will turn out good just in time for next summer.
