well i removed the alarm. and still same thing. one time, i turned the key to II and the RPM jumped to 4k. ?????????? wtf right? after a few seconds later it went back down...iam stumpped. i need the help asap. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks!!!

 

I would trace back to all the wires that you did. See what those wires are, and get a guy that work at HONDA to tell you what those wires are so you can get an idea what you hook up wrong.

ill take some pics. theres this two wire(purple and red) i think, that i cut. iam unsure where it goes. ill post pic tomorow. any other suggestions?

 

What alarm did you install? I do like three a day towards the holidays haha the shop gets kind of busy. Sounds like you may have switched a plug or two when pluggin everything back into the car. A rem start has a 10-12 gauge thick red igniton wire, pink ign., orange accessory, and either one purple and a purple and green starter wire(s). Those all go to the 8 gauge wires coming from the key cylinder. You have one or two red wires from the brain that should be tagged onto the red 10-12 gauge, 12 volts. Brown goes to siren or horn. Black is grounded to chassis, black from horn is grounded to chassis. Antenna run to windshield. Umm anything else? You do power locks? You dont need a key bypass or anything so it shouldnt be that difficult.
