k i had a zdyne, llc ecu vtec version pm8 programable


on a b18a1 motor i switchd back to the pr4 ecu 0bd0 out of a 91 teg the process of the swap is not done yet but the idleing is all wack ( exhaust if runnin off the headerand downpipe then exhaust is cut off from there havent got to shop yet) but its reading a ( 3 blink on the ecu ) actually ( 1 long 3 short) thats what it seams but would it hurt to run the zdyne ecu pm8 vtec on a b18a1 ( 91 obd0) and any problem solving with the code? tryin to get to idle fine but seems never to work

 

k i check some code 1 long 3 short comes up as a code 13 right i think that says ( barometric pressure) whats that mean?? hope not head gasket just replaces befor put engine in

 

Your first post is difficult to understand.

Is it possible you may have misread the codes and have 2 seprate codes? for example: (#10 map sensor and #3 IAT sensor)

If you are correct and you have CEL code #13 (barometric sensor) that sensor is located inside the ECU. Try a different ECU and see what happens.

 

im really not sure how to read codes on the obd0 the part i c or read in book says 1 long would rep the 1st # and fallowd by short would rep #2nds 0-9 but ill try em out c what happens and the 1st quest was askin this (zdyne) vtec ecu aftermarket programable PM8 will it work on b18a1 0bd0 motor cuz i aint to sure what ecu's can go were
