i got a 91 4 door lx and it came with a console peice that ive havent seen before its below the stereo theres like another slot for something about the size of the stereo hole and then theres a cig lighter and a little hole next to it for im guessing an ash tray. my qestion is what goes in the bigger hole right under the stereo and where can i get that and an ash tray for it? i never see these at the junk yard so im gueesing there hard to find? i seen one similar to it on ebay it said it was jdm but the lighter and ash tray were on the oposite sides as mine and it was missing the peice below the stereo too. pics would be awsome

 

here is my audio console, with an Accord 1/4 din pocket. i dont have the lighter there anymore, since thats where my boost gauge resides now.

 

yup thats the one i got too but mines all empty holes. where do you think i can find that little pocket and an ash tray?? what year accord is that pocket off of? and how did you mount it in there?

 

i think it was a 94-95 Accord. those little ashtrays are the same as the one on the EG. you may get lucky and find a few in the junkyard.

 

The ashtray is also the same as the rear ashtray in a 3rd gen prelude.

I thought the slot in the optional console was a full DIN?

 

not on mine, it was meant for the factory eq. now the slot on the EG optional is full size.

thats a center peice that came from the special editions... i bought 3 specials and they all had them... there pretty hard to get..

i dont think you can get an ash tray ,,, why not try to fab one and post it on here?

 

if you can find a 3rd gen prelude, the rear passenger ashtray fits perfectly.. i'll post up pics when i get back from work..

no, its not. my audio console came out of a DX hatch, auto, burgandy int, and absolutely no other factory options.

the car was complete when i snagged mine btw. it was just another factory option avail for any model
