I need a pair of front struts for my 1977 Honda Civic CVCC.



For some odd reason, they are as difficult to find as Shangri-La, The Maltese Falcon, and The Abominable Snowman.

I am also looking for a door handle (driver's side) in good condition. A careless mechanic broke mine.

 

Hey, try classicgarage.com for struts and try posting on the 1stgencivic.org for sale and wanted for the handle....good luck....

Well, classicgarage.com did have a pair of front struts for a 1977 Honda Civic, and I placed my order for the parts. Unfortunately, my auto mechanic was unable to install them because, according to him, the mounting brackets were different and the struts themselves did not operate in the same way that the original struts on my '77 operate. Consequently, I had to return my order to classicgarage.com, which gave me a partial refund.

I'm a member of 1stgencivic.org, and I'll try posting another want ad thereon.

You don't like KYB struts? I'm using 2 KYB's front struts on one of my Cvcc. Check Nopi's website......
