Default My second R Daily Rocket Update =5.10.08

After i decided that my ITR #5058 had to stay in the garage for the winter and the rainy days, something new had to come.

Just two Days ago i get a rolling Typer r Shell for 500Bucks
It`s a 1998 UKDM RHD Itr with Aircon and around 75k miles.
The Condition of the Car is pretty good.

Yesterday I cleaned it up with some Sonax Scratch removal.

Enjoy

Start collecting Parts to get it together.

Intake Mainfold and Header will be changed.

After cleaning i started up to get the engine bay ready for the Euro Spec B18c6 Engine that is waiting on the floor
Resprayed it in CSW( not Perfect but good enough for a Winter and daily ride)

Greets from Austria

That's probably not 500 US dollars.

Nice work! I always love a rebuild thread!

Car looks good. I'm glad you are sticking with a B series!

$508 Euros is about $745 US dollars.

Type-R shells can be picked up for buttons, nobody wants them. I was tempted with an MR shell for £250, but I had nowhere to keep it.

going to be keeping tabs on the progress

Nice pick up... Good luck with the rebuild. Looks like you're ahead already with all those parts...

There are times when itr shells are that cheap here in the US but car dealers won't sell them for that, the want to make their profits so we get the ridiculous prices of 1500-2000 for shells...

Is there anything wrong with that front end or do you just want to change it? Silverstone sounds pretty good.
