Default Theory - How would you build a '10 second' CRX or EF?

I was bored and just thinking...

How would you build a 10 second quarter mile CRX or EF?

What parts (realistic) would you use?

How difficult would it be (lots of fab work?)?

What about cost (parts... labor you couldn't do yourself)?

20k? 30k?

No flaming.

and lastly, what cars would be better suited for this, if not an EF? More interested in EF idea though. and no, I am not planning anything at the moment, just curious.

time, weight redcution, traction, 400hp, someone who can drive/build a car

b series, turbo, slicks

everything in life is only as hard as you make it

depends on if you are a hustler free-infinity

vague questions get vague answers <<no sarcasm intended

i don't know the amount of income you have but if you want to buil a single cam that can run 10 you need a lot of work you should just swap it for a b series and build that a bit and boost it. to build a 10 second single you have to rebuild everything because your gonna have to push more boost to even out as if you would swap.

what car would be better suited, how about a skyline gtr, regardless of generation. awd traction and big room for powerplant = game over
as with any car trying to get 10's you would need a crazy powerplant

b series, cp pistons, eagle rods, race gas, boost, slicks and good suspension. can be done with less than 10k.

Write "CRX EF" on the license plate of a 600cc sport bike. Upgrade to a 1000cc to go faster, and a 1300 or 1400 to go even faster.

I'm assuming the LS1 mentioned is GM's LS1? That setup would be funny/wrong/sick/badass/confused/insert your own expletive here. At any rate, it would have an identity crisis. So I LOL.
