do you have to use the timing cover on the side of the motor???

wtf. simple damn question. if you have time to type for search might as well set an answer

dont have too. but highly recommended so that way you dont drop any tools, screws or bolts into your timing belt..it can cause serious damage.

Only reason you don't use a timing cover is if your cam gear does not fit, which it should..... Just keep it on it's there for a reason.
