if your gonna use the tranny from the z6 might as well drop the whole motor in there and forget a mini swap. use the harness from your coupe including the ecu. you can also use the pedal assembly off your coupe with little mods.

stock mounts will work, but your motor will be slightly sideways, cause the mounting point on the frame of an auto and manual is off a little. [but it doesnt mean it wouldnt bolt in]

ej1 harness is best for most swaps.

i would like to leave it auto trans. its just a pain for me (money wise) to do the swap just cause the harness i need is 300

what will i need to do the swap a z6 into a 88 wagovan? i have a complete engine still sitting in the coupe.

what ecu will i be using for the swap?
motor mount? from which car?
harness will be a obdo-obd1 (dpfi to mpfi) harness
auto trans (will i need to mod anything ?) (so that the motor doesnt sit at an angle?)
will the axles from the stock motor in the wagon fit the z6?
will i need to relocate the battery?

if anyone has a log of this with pics that would be awesome!

also what can i pull out that i dont need off the z6? to drop weight and to have less under the hood.
