I just bought this ITR. It use to be PY, but now NHBP. I was thinking about painting it Jade green metallic. Never like the PY and my girl said she would kick my *** if I paint it PY. She thinks Yellow is an ugly color for a car. Plus it's to flashy, don't want thieves to spot me a mile away. But now PY seems to look better and better.

Drove 36 hrs strait home from Cali to MN. Always wanted a non rust-bucket Honda.

HAHA, California was hot and dry as hell.

 

you could either paint it PY to match the bay OR paint the bay black and match the car.

your choice. whichever seems easier

 

Or I can paint it Milano red. I've always wanted a milano red ITR, but LHD

 

if you have the cash for a full, true paint job, i.e. jams/bay/take car completely apart, then any color will do. I always liked the RSX desert sand metalic or whatever its called. But if your just painting the outside, bring it back to py so it fully matches.

 

Normally I'd say stick with the stock color...but that NBP looks pretty clean in the pics...I'd just keep it and Simple Green the engine bay. If you have the time and money then just strip the bay out and paint it to match.

if u r going to do an all out paint job and do everything then i would go anouther color, if just a spray then py

My other jdm teg is painted Desert silver metallic, love the color to death.

Yeah, Doespike is right, NHBP is a nice color. Painting the bay would be the cheaper than repainting the whole car again. The car did receive a whole paint paint job. Inside out, only thing wasn't painted was the bay.

I think I'm going to just paint the engine bay NHBP for now. Never know what the feature brings. desert silver or jade green

 

Either strip the bay and have it painted NHBP to match the car, or if going with another color, I'd definately spray it Milano Red.

PY for sure, whoever painted it black needs to revaluate life especially leaving the engine bay yellow it looks terrible. Just do yourself and the car a favor and bring it back to PY

 

Bring it back to stock!!!!!..PY...plus ur GF will only be there for a while...UR car will be there for FOREVER..in ALL ur times of need!

Yeah. And I hope you didn't pay too much for that car.

Ironically I think you would have been better off with an R that had seen a little snow and just fix what needed to be fixed.

Agreed, my GF wanted me to buy the black R so I got the yellow.
