Default how much would a front end cost?

i found a DC5 on craigslist... has front end damage. owner said no frame damage, although the fenders, bumper, headlights, and hood are gone to ****.

how much would a full front end run (on average)?

the car still runs fine, motor mounts are good to go... i'm thinking of trading the owner with my 95 DB8 and just making the repairs myself.

Call the dealership and price out the parts, or look at any of the many, many sites on the net that sells OEM Acura parts.

No one can give you a price not knowing exactly what's damaged or how much other body work needs to be done.

Paint/labor is always more expensive than parts. And cheap paint jobs usually look cheap.

hit up clubrsx, you could find everything used for about a grand. also if you have salvage yards around where you live, hit those up.

well i called the guy and i was looking to do a straight trade. most likely it's a no go because he's claiming that my car isn't nearly worth $6000, which is what he's asking for the car. he's claiming that i'll only be able to get $2400 for my GS-R... so he's already trying to give me the run around. i asked him for a straight trade and he gives me a scientific explanation why it won't work for him. claiming his estimates are for $4000 and if he put in that $4000 that he could easily sell the car for $14000... but oh well, i'd rather not deal with the jackass if he doesn't really want to try to work out a deal.

Get under that car and look at the subframe and entire unibody before going any further. Owner can say whatever he wants, used cars are sold as is.
