the drivers side window on my 98 is messed up. it will no longer roll all the way up. it gets to about 1/4 inch and just bounces up and down about 1/2 inch, making a terrible noise the whole time. like a loud thumping noise.
i can get out of the car and physically(while sandwiching the window with both hands) shift the window back, and up but the window still falls down about 1/4 inch when i shut the door.
also, i just noticed today that the window used to roll down all the way when i pressed the button, but now it stops going down when i let off the button.
i took off my door panel and the window is still held in place by the 2 tabs on the bottom. honda also did a swell job in making it hard as hell to figure out whats going on in the door(limited visibility). upon checking it out im not even sure that i'd be able to change the motor myself if thats what i end up needing to do. any input is welcomed. thanks in advance.
