Default o2 problems

i have a 89 4 dr with just the stock dual point, auto, set up and i replaced the o2 sensor with just the cheap $20 bosch o2 sensor (i got the code 1 from the ecu) and i was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with these in a dual point before. oh i had it replaced under warrenty and not even ten mins later o2 code again. Ive reset the ecu a couple of times and also after i replaced the sensor the second time. any ideas

If the wire is intermittently "grounding out", then it might pass the continuity test with the your DMM. You could always run a new test wire (don't bother routing it too well) just to do a quick test to see if your problem goes away.

Another thing is people complain about the cheap bosch O2 sensors being really unreliable. did you make sure you didn't touch it with your fingers before you installed it?
