cutting bumpstop?

Default cutting bumpstop?

hey everyone i just install my koni yellow on GC on my 95 integ ..and i was wondering if i should cut the bumpstop because it have never been cut before..will it help by cutting it or should i just leave it

How much are you dropping the car? 2.5" would need to cut the bump stops.

cut them in half and keep the big diameter piece.

Personally, I would leave the bumpstops alone and acquire some extended top hats.

I've got Yellows too, and my (OE) bumpstops were eventually cut in half as stated in the install instructions.

This was way back, but I remember first installing them without having them cut which resulted in an unstable ride (ie; not enough travel; bottoming). At the time they were paired with RS*R race springs (2.5" drop).
