ok i swaped my stock fuel pump on my 89 crx for a walbro 255 and everything went smooth right after instalation it turned on 3 consecutive times and on the 4th time my fuel pump would not prime so i ran a direct 12v to the fuel pump and it turn on also the main relay would not click so i change the main relay 3 times 3
diff main relays i also checked all the fuses and relays and there all fine i even change the ECU twice..

so what is the prob it cranks but the pump dosent kick on

any help will be appriciated

 

If you only tried used main relays then they could have all gone bad because that is a very common problem with the older civics.

You can usually resolder the two common connections that go bad and be on your way as I did. Although admittedly I also changed my fuel pump first. you'll have to search but there are even pics online of the close up crack in the solder that happens on the same two points of every one of these shitty relays.

If that doesn't work then you can trace back the wires until you find the problem. easier said than done. GL
