Nice! Your car is freakin sweet! I love the front bumper and how clean you cleaned/cut out the center bar. What lip is that?

 

Don't you think the front wheels would look better on the back and vise-versa?

im trying to stagger the wheels to the front and im still waiting on my rear tires and wheels to be painted

Just not alot of 97's left around to look at lately. I still have the issue of SCC Mag from 1996 that had the 97 CW R on the front cover. Never thought I'd own an R one day.

 

Car is clean

OMG that is for real one of the best looking Rs I've ever seen, I love it! My favorite wheels ever for sure (the only thing I ever missed about my Piglude was my Regas ).

You're correct if it's authentic, looks to be, minus the badge. Love 97's, especially with the Mugen lip

Were you forced to cut the center beam that runs through the stock bumper to install the existing lip?

Shouldn't, I pretty sure the lip fits without having to cut that out.

I remember seein pics somewhere of the Mugen lip installed with the Front piece intact

 

I'm not a huge fan of the lip ... looks like a snow plow

The rest of the car is amazing ... great job on keeping heR clean !

 

Somebody gave your car a fat lip! IMO it needs side skirts to balance out that front lip - looks a little "unbalanced" to me.

Love me a '97 though

Naw, it fits with the bar intact.

97? That's a 98 front bumper. 97's never had turn signals like that. If the center bar was cut out, you would see a gouge all the way to the front. As the bar is almost flush with the front of the bumper. Also, that lip is a Mugen 'style' lip on a 98 front bumper.

uh try again thats a 97 bumper w/ different signals. The center bar looks like its been painted black. OP: awesome R

Uh here is the center bar I was refering to (not the bumper beam). I have circled showing the area showing where it is not so easy to cut out and get a continuous flush surface like he has (as I have also circled). Also, I know of no solid yellow/orange turn signals for the 97 front end. I'm not saying they were never made and if someone has any info, I would like to know.
