Its a cb7 and thats it. There is no CB5, there is a CA5, but thats a 3rd gen.
To the OP, do you have drum brakes in the rear or 4 wheel disc?
The car can either be an EX or SE (EXR in canada but i'm sure ur from us)
So, there are only 2 speaker options in the rear. 6-1/2" round speakers and 6x9 oval speakers. If you post up the vin, I can break it down for you and tell you everything about the car.
ETA, no accord had Vtec from factory till 94. 1, 2, 3, and 4th gens never had the Vtakk

CB7 is the only designation for the chassis in America. The Japanese market did have a CB5.
I was going off of the CD chassis where 5 is sedan, 7 is coupe.</TD></TR></TABLE>
WRONG AGAIN BISH!!!
There are only 2 diffrent chassis in north america. CB7(coupe + sedan) and CB9 which is the not as popular wagon.
Although my screen name does not reflect it, I am now a CB7 Fanatic, as I have owned over 5 of them bad boys.
like, diyer says, "dont listen to muffin head, he knows nothing"
That guy is lollerskates, I hope he dies

I know the canadian model EXR (I believe the US EX) came with 6x9's in the rear, but my SE came with 6.5"
This should put an end to the discussion. Check your vin against that.

P.S. Your right bout the topic discussion with muffin.. i looked at those charts and your correct. That guy does think he knows it all..

What da what?
I make a mistake and admit it about having a CB5/CB7 which doesn't exist, there is only the CB7 stateside, the CB5 does exist in Japan Land.
The CD chassis (which is what I'm most familiar with) follows CD5 (sedan) CD7 (coupe) which is what I was basing my original post off of. Completely separate from that is the CE9 and CB9 both of which are wagons and have a different chassis than the sedan/coupe. I should have (but didn't see a need to) state that the he was correct in saying there was only a CB7 vs the CD5/7 for coupes/sedans excluding the CB9 and CE9 for the wagons.
Also if you're going off that chart you will see it also includes the prior year, which I was not talking about at all
So no I do not know it all and don't claim to, which is why I do not post in some of the threads. If I do have knowledge on the topic matter I will post. Diyer was an argumentative stubborn 50 yr old who was looking for fights and refused to believe anything anyone told him if it was not what he wanted (ie his car was not overcooling). Proof of his stubborness can be seen in his last posts where he goes into a racist/homo outburst for no apparent reason and procedes to call all of us idiots.
My posts are based off of my experience in the CD chassis (both coupe and sedan) where I have done tons upon tons of hours worth of work either by guessing, tutorial, or whatever else. So if you have any questions or concerns with my posts feel free to question and ask. If you look I did more research and admitted that I was incorrect in this thread. So I'm not really sure why you feel as though I'm a know-it-all since I've helped you in the past and I'm assuming successfully (in regards to suspension) and have helped multiple others with my posts.
Diyer's threads however I will not admit to being wrong since he was an idiot and the many of us that told him otherwise were correct.
Hope that clarifies my posting for you.

I think its a pretty safe assumption that there is only 1 person on H-T that knows everything about everything. We all know who that person is now. . .DIYER. He clearly has shown that he is the master of the universe
The bottom line is, everybody makes mistakes, and we are all here to learn from them. Like muffin man said, he knows quite a bit about 5th gens, so thats why he offers to help. I know alot about 4th gens, so I give my $.02. Together we are all here for the same goal.

lol muffin man. i don't know you so i don't have anything against you. but the OP CLEARLY stated he has a CB7, which as everyone knows is the 4th gen 90-93 accords. Therefore, you posting abt 5th gen (regardless of your knowledge about them) was completely pointless regarding the OP's question.
To the OP. sounds like you have an EX because of the sunroof. What motor do you have in it? if it's the stock motor then it should be the F22A6. If it's been swapped then, go according to the vin code description that was posted earlier.

I posted using my knowledge OF 5th gens
Which for the most part holds completely true as they're very similar in both trim levels, motors, suspension components, etc.
And if you notice everything else I posted was correct
I was just wrong in correcting his chassis code

Yep caught me, apologies.
While it has more power over the DX/LX it does not have VTEC.
*edit* As I stated earlier, I know CD's less on CB's. Cleared the posts with misinformation.
