Default Opinions on this port job.

Deal is i got a c5 head in a trade. I took the mani off to check out the factory port job and found this. The intake mani is port matched also. I don't believe they do all this at the factory or am i just wrong. Problem is the had has no cam caps. Just want some opinions here. sorry for the crappy pics kinda hard to catch everything. The divider is cut into a knife. Valve guides are rounded. Exhaust side has been touched also. but kinda hard to see with carbon build up.

Looks ported, but its hard to tell from those pics, how much and what quality and if they even are, because they're very blurry.....

swirl polished valves? Does it really matter if it's not an ITR head anyway. It's still ported

Doesn't matter how good the port work is the head is junk now since it has no caps.Unless you want to spend more then it will cost for another head that is.

depends on how lucky you are .Sometimes you can get away with just another set of caps ,but that is very very rare.usually you have to have them re-linebored with different caps and that's around 600-700 a head or 350 a side.
