Default p72 ecu w/ hondata s200 problem

my car does not want to go pass 4,500rpm on idle, but if u drive it, it'll go pass 4,500 rpm like nothings in the way.... it acts as if the launch control is set to 4,500rpm, but i don't even have the clutch swith or stoplight switch install under with the clutch pedal..... do i have to have that for me to be able to rev pass 4,500rpm on idle?? im confuse about this whole thing... please help.

If the input that was chosen is always grounded, that would make this occur, or if they ended up changing it so a switch was not necessary.

It really all depends on what version of romeditor it was tuned with. You need to talk to your tuner and find out exactly what software was used and how the parameters were set.
