what you will have to do if you wanna keep obd0 is modify you TD-01U dizzy. you will need to trim the ears, where it bolts to the head. so that it fits.

but if your low on cash and cant afford the obd1 swap now. you can use you dpfi dizzy you dont need to cut or trim. I know this sounds hillbilly as hell but only us the to side ears on the dizzy. I have ran mine this for about 3 months with no problems. if ya need a pic ask ill snap on for ya to show ya what i mean. But its wise to swap over to the correct dizzy. I just ordered my stuff for the obd1 swap recently so it will be correct

i think i will modify the distributor because to go obd1 i need wiring harnesses do go from dual point to multi then a wiring harness for the ecu then a harness for the distributor.
This is a dayly driver for me and im out of spare cars i need to do this fast dont have time for a project car

BTW you can take a reamer or unibit drilbit whatever and ream out the top hole in the dizzy slightly and you'll be able to get the top bolt in I did it the other day with a Y8 dizzy on a Z6 head, worked perfectly after I widened the hole a bit.

i have done this set up before. broke the distributor twice. be careful using that method. the engine vibrates and the distributor may fall out and break the two pin that is spun by the camshaft.
