Default CRX Cluster in 88 Civic

Im not sure what year the CRX Cluster is but im guessing 90-91, my question is, whats the light blue conector on the back in the middle of the cluster for and does anyone have a pin out so i can wire it up? Thanx!

you need the pin out for the one plug? or all the plugs?

and i believe its for the seats belt lights in your cluster

ill get pics 2marro but the cluster is outta a crx duno tha year no title we scrapt tha car, but its going into my 1988 civic dx, there is no provisions for this conector to wire up to. but its a 5wire light blue conector to the gauge cluster.

if the cluster is from a 90 or 91 you need the plugs for it do you have them? i searched for the little plug and i found nothing

yeah i got all the plugs i just needed to know where the light blue wires up too. also do you know what ecu is for a D15 Obd1?

The wires coming out of the blue plug end up connected into the fuses under the dash. What its 4 idk. I can e-mail u the pics of the back of the cluster so u can post it.

basically your wiring harness doesn't have the blue plug in it. thats from 90-91. you can only take the clusters from 88-89 and have it work properly. i have done this before and luckily was able to return the cluster. if you hook it up without the blue plug, only the tach will work i believe. thats how it was for me, no fuel, no temp and no speedo.

Everything should work except rpm. But if you need the harness I have a spare one from an old si dash.

you dont even need the blue plug. mine isnt connected to anything and everything works fine. any of the clusters 88-91 will work. some arent plug and play and some are. very few wires have to be swapped to convert from one to the other but it is kinda trial and error to get it right.

Thanx yall 4 tha help. im puting my engine in 2marro so im going to mess wit the cluster 2marro the spedo is cable and i know its a 91 gauge cluster now. im guna test it out soon and let yous kno whats up with it. Ive been really busy painting tha sedan peice by peice and the engine and tranny engine bay ect is finaly done so ima play with that cluster thanx yall!!!
