Default Clutch Tranny not as smooth?

I recently drove a s2000 and an Evo and the clutch and tranny feels really smooth. I even tried dumping the clutch just to see if it bogs but it didn't. My ITR does not feel like that at all. If you dump the clutch you feel a big Clunk and it feels like you have to drive it a certain way or it wont drive smoothly. Like, give it a certain amount of gas before letting go of the clutch. Is all your type-rs like this? or am I the only one?

Kind Regards,
Brian

Edit: I recently got a new Exedy flywheel and clutch combo plus a 5th gear rebuild.
I was told to flush out my tranny fluid after the first fill of tranny fluid; to wash out the gunk that was left over from the build.

Go down to your local Chevy dealer and ask for some GM Syncromesh. Put some of that in the trans and see if that makes it feel better.

Be sure and inspect your old fluid for metal shaving if there is any when you change the fluids out.

I also just got a new clutch (stock Exedy) as well as a 5th gear rebuild and mine shifts like pure silk. Also use Honda MTF....I'm at 60K.
