Default FS: 2001 CW ITR (Toronto, Ontario)

Thought I would give this another try,

Car has 26,000 kms (14,000 miles)
Original owner, the car is completely stock with no modifications.
Car has been meticulously cared for (inside and out).
No accidents or dings anywhere on the body.
Oil changed with Mobil synthetic every 5k.

Mostly highway driven.

Pics:

(rims are not included)

I am asking $34,000 (cdn.)

If interested, e-mail darryl_mussashi@hotmail.com

You may want to lower your price a bit... I sold my '00 ITR, with 27000 Kms a year ago for 28K CAN$ and that included winter tires/rims and the boomerang. My PY ITR was bone stock exept for clear corner lights. My price was a bit low, but I really wanted to get rid of it. See sig for stories...

A brand new R with A/C was selling for 32500$ plus tx... If your car is really stock, how can u ask 34K for a used one...

I'm just trying to help here.

He can ask that because the demand is high, and they are now out of production.

By the way, why are you selling it?

Sorry, I forgot to mention the R has dealer installed A/C, factory alarm, wheel locks, UK spec clear lenses, JDM pedals and a Visual Dynamics HID kit.

Paint proctectant and interior protectant was dealer applied as well.

Maybe... but you're price is still at least 4K over market value!

Let's say I'm shopping for a used ITR... And I want to see to market price for a user '01 R... http://www.autotrader.ca

Look what I found...
http://www.trader.ca/NemyCars/Defaul...yType=pictures

'01 CW ITR 5000 kms... 29 000$

Darryl, if you are willing to sell it, I'm a very serious buyer. I will give you fair market value. I'm certainly not paying 5-6k over retail from 2001.

PS Alot of R's could be had for 1-2k less msrp in toronto.

To be honest, if I was in the market for a new or used car, no matter how low the kms or how much they're selling it for I would pay that little extra knowing it was in the hands of an enthusiast rather than in a used car lot.

Stop being a smartass unless you have gone there in person to check out the condition of that car and have seen the history of that car through the "used car package"
I called them up and they said the car is not ready, they are fixing it. Does it tell you something?

So? Are there anymore ***Brand new (0 kms)*** Type Rs left? Is Acura continuing the production of the Integra Type R?
I could relate to your point if they still made Type Rs but the fact of the matter is they don't and I am sure their will be a high demand for them in the years to come. If someone is looking for an ***obsessively*** well maintained Type R, I am sure the right buyer will be willing to pay that much.
Good luck with selling your car Darryl.

What options came with your R? because mine came with A/C, factory alarm, wheel locks and extended warranty and I did not pay $32400 for everything.
I've also added UK spec clear lenses, JDM pedals and a Visual Dynamics HID kit. Paint proctectant and interior protectant was dealer applied as well, in case you did not see the post above.

$32400 is an impressive price you paid which dealership did you pick yours up from?

Hey dingding boy... You're being the smart ***! I'm just trying to tell this guy that santa claus doesn't exist...

But you're right. I don't know the condition of that '01 R at 29K. But exept for paint chip or other cosmetic problems, all the rest can still be fix under the full Acura warranty prior of purchasing the car! This car is just an example, but again I can probably find half dozen other ITR in the "same price range"(market value)...

And since when 15-20 % above market value... is a "little more"

But if the Pope drove his ITR... Well that's a different story

You can't compare USD prices and CDN prices and simply do a conversion. I wish it was that simple.

He is asking a little high, but to each their own. Its obviously a very nice car!

fyi, the black book value on an extra clean 01 R is $22k cdn.

you can get a new R for $32400 cad?? tell me where? I'll come up to canada and import one down.

what about added options? Tax.? upgrades? ..etc?
how much would that come out to???

people never really think about tax when they are talking about prices?
so with tax, a $32400 Cdn car would come close to $40000 Cdn and that's without all of his added upgrades.

Why bother coming up to Canada when you could go to your local dealer and pickup a brand spanking new 2002 Type R for less??

What'd you do with the insurance money?
I assume that was my post you quoted.

I have the insurance $, but that is still alot of $ for me to spend on a car. My living situation may be changing soon (don't know when though, & that's the problem) due to job app's I have in with other fire departments.

damn.....I tried to sell my 01 R STOCK with ONLY 6000 KM on the clock for $35000 CAD, which was the price to buy out the car from my lease. Everyone told me I was crazy for selling at such a high price.

I ended up having a guy took over my lease with ZERO down and 530 CAD a month for the rest of the lease. He got one hell of a deal.......

I had to sell the car since I moved back to HK and the R was just sitting there with me paying payments everymonth, I know I could have sold it for a LITTLE more, but money was tight as I was paying for something I couldn't use.

so...basically.....$34,000 IS infact kinda high, considering everyone selling their R these days.
