i have a GS-R there is a pop when i slowly take off and the pop becomes faster the faster i drive it pops in all 5 gears including when i reverse the pop actually jerks my car i checked both my cv joints none of the boots are split open a mechanic told me it was my tranny but i seen this youtube video posted as shakey cv axle and that sounds exactly like my car please need help and need it fast

 

The boot doesn't necessarily need to be ripped to mean you have a bad axle. It's tough to say in your case... do you notice it clicking when turning? How old is the axle? Do you drive the car hard?

 

it doesnt click when i turn i dont beat on her lol but it pops as if the axle isnt flexing like if the teeth isnt catching or something and every pop it jerks my car like i sed b4 the fast i go the faster the pop is...its like in sequence of how the fast the wheel spins

 

if its a bad joint does it click even when im not driving, is it supose to click when i turn my wheel when im stayin still in nuetral

 

Any noise coming from the axle isn't good. I would replace the axle, see if it's fixed. If not, return it defective, tell the parts store that the part was used in the box when you bought it. Trust me, I see it all the time, I work at NAPA.
