car wont rev past 3k. Code 13 & 16
freshly rebuilt Ls/v, and its throwing codes 13 & 16, which was cause one of the fuel injector wires striped, which was fixed, and we pulled the fuse to reset the ECU and its still throwing the code, even though all the wires were inspected and turned out fine.
car runs fine, and turns on everytime, problem is, is it wont rev past 3k. i got S100 (used) burned on my p30, so im thinking the last is messing with the ECU or something...
can fuel injector codes throw it off and cause something like this? or maybe theyre clogged...? rpms bounce like a redline, but it does it slow...

did it work with the S100 before the code was thrown? because sounds like when they put the s100 in they screwed your ecu up... had a shop do that to mine also, got a chip installed and got it back and wouldnt rev past 3k rpms, turned out they fried my ecu...
Just a thought I know that the new k series motors have kinda like a killsafe thing where if you take the cam position sensor off it wont let you rev past 3k but its just to keep from overrevving and hurting the motor.
went to Zerohour motorsports and they checked me out, lent me a ECU, and it worked perfectly. as soon as i slapped it on, car turned on right away, didnt wanna bog down any like before and revved up past 3k like a champ.
im taking the ecu back to get it fixed, so hopefully it'll cure everything.
too bad my damn synchros went out on the way there
