just got some new cf body parts for the car.

debating on if i should get that yellow part on the bumper just above the exhaust wrapped in 1x1 weave carbon fiber? yes or no?

Looks better in my opinion, but if you like the CF look thats cool to.

Do it or just paint it black or cut it out of the bumper.

 

I am not too sure with the Carbon Lip kit.

 

Paint them PY. The only time they look good without being painted are on a black car.

if carbon fiber were utilized to reduce weight and you wrapped your rears in them... wouldn't that add weight? seems kinda counterproductive. i mean, it's cool and all, but i guess i just don't get it. bottom line... who cares what we think? more power to you, brother.

 

yeah that happens alot.. CF is ment to shed weight from the car but people are always trying to find new things on the car to wrap just so it looks "cool".. honestly, imo, useless CF that is put on just for looks is ugly.. i can understand a trunk and hood and maybe other things like fenders etc.. that actually replaces the part with lighter CF.. but valence kit in CF thats just retarted :x.

I personally like it with PY when the center section is cut out completely. JjjunR is like that. Regardless, it still needs to be painted.

 

The pieces draw the eye to them, rather than adding to the collective portrait of your car. As others have said, I'm afraid they are tacky. Its your car though, and if you like it rock it. If not you can sell them, paint them, etc.

I have to agree, it just looks tacky like the car was put together with junk yard parts or something. But as everyone is saying....its your car.

 

Why do people insist on adding body kits their Type R's? The Integra has very graceful bodylines and bodykits break all of that up, especially when unpainted.

Even the OEM kit looks kinda silly on an ITR. That's part of the reason they are so rare...no one really wanted them back in the day. If the search went back to 01, I'd say look it up.

 

This is the way it should be done....
I would hurt to paint the CF yellow after paying the money for it.
