i got a harness that hasport made for me. they converted from dpfi to mpfi and obd1. will it work in a si car harness still?? im in the middle of doing work on another shell and i have a crx thats just sitting around so im gonna swap all my stuff over for the time being till its done. thanx

 

The converted harness you have runs the wires that a standard Si interior harness would have had originally in it, in through the firewall and taps them into the ecu jumper wires. They do this because the dx/std interior harness doesnt have the proper wiring within it to run mpfi without that subharness. However if that subharness is connected up to the ecu jumper wires the the same as you would do so had the converted harness been in a dx/std chassis, then i dont see why it shouldnt work.

i need help with this since it is my first do it myself complete harness swap...

my car is a 1991 crx hf that came with a dpfi zc swap, things happen with my car and i decided to swap an ls swap in it all obd0 straight from a da integra, i also got a complete harness from a 1988 crx si will there be any changes like will i have extra plugs or anything what do i need to change? is the ls engine harness straight plug and play into the 88 crx si harness.. also is the 88 crx si harness plug and play in my 91 crx hf or what do i change or what changes?? HELP PLEASE IF YOU KNOW WHO CAN HELP ME PLS PM OR HAVE SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME PM PLEASE THANK YOU..
