Another Track ***** Post - Project R see Sig

Most think of the 1/4mile drag strip .... Nope, we drove the Old Nascar track that Nascar doesn't use because of California race and another race. Back in the 90's and before this was a 2 race facility for Nascar.

This past weekend at "The ROCK!" Had a student with a hatch/k20r ... f'n fast. He had PIC suspension on his car which was great to see, said he researched it on K20.org and said everyone said great things about the PIC company and Products

Great weather, fun Ol'skool Nascar oval with infeild roadcourse. Owen, Patrick, Me (1 itr, 2 EG's).

Been there, Pocono. Nothing special... I had the WRX and was able to hit the TCU limit of 130ish where the R would have struggled to hit over 120. If you got big nuts, hugging the wall 6inchs or so will get some more speed and scare the living hell out of your passenger

Pocono? I would nut all over Pocono. I do think your's and my feelings would differ greatly on it though. I would get there and think of how many Legends have driven that asphalt as well. That would be half the thrill for me.

 

Great pics, had a great time on Sunday. I've got to do something about my tires, can't have the smurf ridding my a$$ like that at CMP.

 

I wish I could have made it. Kitchen remodel has my entire car habit money on hold . I'll be there in '09!!!
