Trying to hard wire my radar detector in. Just curious if anyone had done this and where they tapped in for power and ground. Thanks for all the help.

 

Just go to the fuse box under the dash u will find accessory or ignition power there.

 

I saw the fuse box, but just wondering how they tapped in the power and ground thats all. Or is someone did a cool install.

 

they make little plugs you can crimp to each wire that will allow you to plug it into the fuse panel in one of the accessories slot..i believe there 1 or 2 extra slots in the fuse panel...if not...take it to a stereo install place and have them direct wire it to the 12v cig lighter thing...you can run the wires down the back side of the dash and wire it to that also since that turns off with the ignition...hope that helps..GL
