Rough shift into 3rd gear....AUTOMATIC V6 '03
When my car shifts into 3rd, it does a slight rev up and than shifts into 3rd. Fluid level is good and fluid has been changed in last 15,000.
I don't want to make any assumptions, but are there any diagnosis thoughts.

Get on the phone with American Honda. They might help you pay for it.

dispite what ANYONE here tells you, the 03-07 accords have the SAME POS 5AT used in the 01-03 Acura CL/TL type S. it's toast and needs to be replaced because your 3rd gear clutch pack is toast...........
do it quick before you get the dreaded limp home mode where the car downshifts into 2nd and stays there........and this really sucks when you are doing 65-70 on the fwy when it happnes

that trans will run about $4K from the dealer installed. Takes about a week. Call HOA after you have the dealer diag it see if they will good will a replacement for you or help pay for some of the cost

i'll try it out. But i think i have too many miles...127,000.
