Too make a long story short, it is very possible to set off a airbag sensor. Was making a K turn to avoid a construction route. Something in the front hit a curb or hard debris and the set sensor off because the SRS light was flashing and the seatbelts will not retract. Seatbelts need to be replaced along with the sensors. No body damage nor was there any wheel contact. This is just a heads up for all your 06+ civics out there.
