ABS light
Took my 2001 Accord to the mechanic and he replaced wheel sensor ($55.19) and told me to drive it around until the light resets. He also cleaned off oxidation from rims? ($30.00)
He replaced my oxygen sensor ($349.88) because i also had check engine light.
He replaced 2 front tires ($165.90 Falcon Ziex ZE912) + $30.00 for mounting and balancing + $4.00 for valves.
$83.12 labor for diagnosing and installing oxygen sensor and left rear wheel sensor (sounds low to me).
Total was $776.04
Does this sound reasonable?
Edit: he billed me for 36531-PAA-306 OXYGEN SENSOR
manual says air fuel ratio sensor.
Thanks

Just went outside to pop the hood and the sensor he replaced stuck out like a sore thumb because it has a green insulation sleeve over sensor wires. It is the oxygen sensor right in the center when you pop the hood. Does anyone know if the OEM has a green sleeve? Never noticed that green color until today. If it's not OEM, he highly overcharged for part. ($350)
It looks very easy to replace. How do you know it's a clone? I'm asking because i called the local Honda dealer and lady said her OEM had a green sleeve as well. I haven't verified if it was labeled denso to be sure. It did not look OEM to me because i never noticed that the original was green. Either way, he still charged over list price.
Anyway, wife has been using the car the last couple days and the ABS light still hasn't gone away. He replaced wheel sensor and cleaned oxidation from rims and told me light would reset itself. Is this normal?

Major rip in my book. But, since he charged you that much money and your ABS light is still coming on, (it resets everytime you restart the car) I'd be taking it back till he fixes that light. Make him earn it. By the way, an oxygen sensor for a 01 Accord shouldn't cost more than $30! I'd be all over that one. Google it and see for yourself.
