Default Brakes Failing ftl

coming off the parkway (nj). Wheel clyinder and whole drum assembly = garbage.


i know drums are a pain but what about wheel cylinders? hard? easy? never done them before.

they are just as easy. get new ones, remove old ones. replace and bleed. but if i were you, i would use it as an excuse to spend the money for a disc conversion look for stuff from junkyards. 90-00 integra.

just a reminder, its a good idea to replace the trailing arm bushings with new ones. on civics, 92-00 trailing arm bushings are 28 bucks and you can find the part number from myhondaparts.com

if you find 94-00 integra trailing arms, the $28 bushing fits no problem (and a vice and a hammer will get them out and it just fine. i didnt need the bushing press that the DIY says you need)

90-93 intergra bushings are 75 bucks BUT you can use the guts from the 90-93 trailing arm on your civic one. (i know cause i had to do this for my 95 civic cause a bolt was froze and snapped on the teg trailing arm).

lol i totally would but my cars beat up as ****. i just use it to get around to work ect. hopefully in the future ill be able to do that but for now, im sol.
