Default 90 Honda Civic Hatch issues

Ok here it is I have as the title says. had to replace the original motor, changed to a Y8 block and a Y7 head, did not change the ECU or throttle body. the car now throws injector codes, and smoke rolls from the tail pipe and has no power really... I need to know if i need to change something else to fix the problem at hand,

try a new gasket and the ecu that came with that car will work for the motor

gasket is like 10.00

and the intake makes the car mpfi not the head
