Default Which one is exhaust valve and which one is intake valve?

so i got the two valves mixed up. One has a D on the bottom of it, the other has a R on the bottom of it.

The one with D has a lighter color burned on it.

The one with R are black in color.

I think R is intake and D exhaust. Any help?

Thanks,
Shane

there should be no way to screw this up. i can glance at the two and tell you which is which. only one will fit each seat correctly.
