yeah it def sucks out of all the things i own besides the house this is the one thing that i took my time with and didn't take shortcuts. and only got to crank it twice before i decided to rip it out of that hatch to stick it in my integra. so spending all this time and money in something and not being able to use it is a bummer. but after the insurance guy comes tomorrow ima tear it all down to bear block clean the bearings and buy a new gasket set for it.

Sorry to see that happen. I am sure that motor was not the only thing you lost.....hope things get better soon. For what it is worth... I am smokin a bowl for you. ..prayers and thoughts with you
Half of my car got flooded during Hurricane Katrina. I still got it running even though alot of people on honda-tech thought other wise. 3 years later it still running like normal.
First thing I did was drain everything out and refill. Replace both fuse under hood/ dash boxes, ecu, dizzy, and lastly battery. After that make sure you have power. Unplug your ecu and pull the spark plugs out. Try starting it with the ecu unplugged so all the water comes out. What I did was get an air compress and stick an air hose down there and shoot all the water out. Once you get all the water you can try starting it up. Btw I drain my gas tank out also.
