Electric superchargers can add hp, but they had like 15 of them in a row and they had dedicated batteries in the trunk (and lots of them)

Ha, yeah if these things really worked you'd see a lot more of them. Truth is, like a few have said before me, they don't force NEARLY enough air into your engine to make any power.
It is forced induction, just using the word forced VERY loosely.
And yes, these things can even reduce power if they aren't blowing hard enough to at least keep up with the suction of the engine. It becomes basically a big fan blocking air in your intake system... kind of like those dumb tornado things that are supposed to improve fuel efficiency (some may say they have seen them work, but I think it's in their heads).
Anyway, would be nice if they did work though!
