Just curious.

I've still got a lot of things to finish on the car before I track it again, if I go next year.

 

doubt there are any definitive plans at this point.

hey ed, did you run into any car issues last year, like over heating or anything? just curious how the setup held up out there.

what are you changing before you track it again?

 

I am curious as well. I cant even imagine what might still need to be done to that car.

 

I had ABS/brake issues, so mostly just front splitter/brake ducting and possibly traction bars.
However, now that I'm really thinking about it, also working on lower sideskirts, rear aero (diffuser), rear valances and front/mid/rear underbody, DL1, etc. ....

Other than that things were good in the other departments.
Hehe ... I don't think I even got it into "VTEC" last year. LOL!

I'm curious too, but I'm sure we'll hear as soon as the planning committee is ready to announce anything. I'm also sure they're familiar with details on all the tracks, including their cost, safety, availability, etc.

 

The official word is that there may be an Expo 9. Assuming there is one, it won't be at VIR. It also won't be at Sebring International Raceway or, sadly, Nurburgring.

It should be somewhere in the US, and somewhere around the same date range. Should also be somewhere in the same neighborhood price range.

Nelson has one of the highest average track speeds for a 2 mile track in the country.

Plus .. camping is allowed almost everywhere!
P.S. I think they even have some "flush" toilets now.
