Default Oem crank sensor and msd coil on plug setup

Looking into the Cop style ignition I have ems , msd dis-2 , and 929 coils. What I am trying to find is if you can just use the stock obd2 crank sensor and if so what do I connect it to and with that would I be abile to dump the distributor . I tried a bunch of searches but I think I'm just not using the right words so if you know of a link that would be great. Also I'm going to go wasted spark I know there was a diagram for wiring that on here but its gone, does anyone have one?

First off let me start by saying that the sensor on the front of an OBD2 motor is not a crank angle sensor. It is a crankshaft fluctuation sensor and its only purpose is to detect misfires as per the government placed requirments for OBD2 systems.

You can run the AEM COP system with only the stock honda distributor. The distributor houses all of the sensors you need to run the COP system. You simply remove the ingiter and coil from inside the dizzy and just run the cap on it to act as a dust cover.

OBD2 and OBD1 h22's do not have fluctuation sensors, they are indeed crank angle sensors. One is in the distributor (CYP), the other is on the oil pump (CKP) along with a TDC sensor. OBD1 applications have all the sensors in the distributor but still there is no fluctuation sensor

to run distributorless you will need a trigger. Contact user "Rosko" for more information on this as he has a billet distributor block off plate he makes and runs coils with AEM on his h23vtec.

my bad... I missed the part about it being an H motor. I just assumed it was a B motor.
