ok do you really think i havent done that. i have tryed google, yahoo, ask jeves and just about every other web site you can think of. the only thing it comes up with is the specs that sellers give it, like comp. redline power and twist and half the time that **** isnt even right. thats why i asked if any one has good specs. i was thinking maybe someone has a jdm book or something along thoughs lines.

im sorry i wasnt trying to be an ***. i recently bought a 2000 gsr with a full 2000 jdm itr swap in it. i dont really know squat about the jdm motor. i know its not a hole lot different for the b18c5 but there are some. im trying to plan out my boost build for it but i dont want to start buying parts going by the b18c5 specs and end up haveing th wrong size parts. what im looking for:

vtec engagement
bore and stroke
connecting rod length
all the ratios and mph for each gear

basicly all the numbers i can get for the build of the motor. i know that it seems stupid. but i have look every where. i have even tried to find an actually jdm itr manual but it seems that toughs are really hard to come by.

Try the FAQ's thread at the top of the forum. Lots of motor info there. It's categorized nicely too

I believe someone on this forum made a basic website that had side by side comparisons of all the Integras engine, transmission, and chassis info. Pretty much the perfect site for what youre asking for. However i have been looking for it too for personal info and havent been able to find it unfortunately. Perhaps someone else might know what im talking about and post it up.

Best of luck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the engine specs you asked for are the same for the jdm itr motor as the usdm motor. Gear ratios in the transmission are also the same except for the final drive ratio.

thanks kett. i will start searching for that site, if i find i will let you know.

cdn, you could very well be right. as i said before i know very little about the jdm motors. i havent ever been lucky enough to own or work on one till now. im pretty sure that the vtec engagment is different for b18c-r to the c5 but im not positive.

I have a JDM B18C-r and according to the factory ITR gauge cluster tach the engagement is at 5600.

The JDM and USDM ITR engines are nearly identical...but there are a couple of differences:

- JDM engine has an 11.1:1 compression ratio, vs the USDM's 10.6
- JDM engine has an 8600rpm redline, vs the USDM's 8400
- JDM engine technically has like 2 or 3 more hp (so basically no different)

As for the transmissions, the JDM transmission has a slightly taller 4th and 5th gear, but a noticeably shorter final drive.

Also, the JDM engines do not have the oil pressure switches that come on the USDM engines (that little green plug on the side of the VTEC solenoid).

Aside from that, the bore (81.0mm), stroke (87.2mm), displacement (1797cc), VTEC engagement (5700rpm), etc. are the same between the USDM and JDM ITR engines.
