Should Oil Pump Gears Look Like This??
so im rebuilding a b16 and the oil pump gears are really rough and jagged on the surface where the two pieces come together. the highlighted area. will this be a problem for it pumping oil? i would think these surfaces would be machined smooth but i havnt seen another honda b-series oil pump gear in person.
