Default Simple scratch removal question on a 08 Civic LX

Alright, I purchased a 2009 Civic LX coupe about one week ago. I wash it today for the first time since bringing it home from the dealership and noticed that the car has three scratches on it. They are light scratches but I can feel them when rubbing my fingers over them. The scratches appear grayish in color. My Civic is the Nighthawk Black color.

So, what type of rags to people recommend for buffing this out and what type of products? I don't want to use a "soft" towel and turtle wax if that won't take the scratches off. They can't really be seen until I get up close to the car but I know they are there and they are bothering me.

you can try touch up paint, if they are deep sand LIGHTY JSUT THE SCRATCH apply the paint in thin coats then try to buff it in to blend it off, i did this with my tahoe when some haters keyd the crap outta it.

sounds like they're just in the clear and could simply be polished/buffed out.

I just use a microfiber and a good polish or wax (not turtle wax). depending on how light it is, just waxing the area will fill it temporarily..

Welcome to the world of black car ownership.. every time you wash, there will be 3 more!

Grab a microfiber and mild (not too aggressive but not too soft) rubbing compound and try to take the scratches out.

And rlock is correct.. black cars suck unless you have a LOT of time and patience..
