03 accord flood damage
i have a 03 accord that had water damage, the ecu looks fried but i dont know.
the car cranks but doesnt start and the key light on the dash is flashing.
if i get another ecu from the junkyard, would i have to get it flashed from the dealer? or do you guys think that it could be something else?
let me kno,

I had an 04 at work that was towed in after being in a flood. Pulled the pcm and took it apart, water droplets inside. Let it dry on my toolbox overnight and **** started up fine.
But if it was my vehicle I would definately want to get a new pcm for the aformentioned problems above.
Yes you will have to have the PCM replaced at dealer.

You don't have insurance? Once your car goes for a swim it might as well be totalled. You may fix the PCM but then what if the tranny won't work, or the windows, stereo, etc. don't work.
ECM is low enough that it can get flooded without flooding out the at or dash electronics. Honda usually puts the ECM passenger side kick panel..........
