Default cam moved with timing belt off?

First time changing a timing belt and im sure this is a stupid question. But i slipped the timing belt trying to get it on and it moved one of the cams can i just set everything so that the arrows are pointing straight up on the cams and crank? It feels as if the crank is between strokes when the crank pulley arrow is facing straight up
