so my adapter plate is on the block, fly wheel and clutch bolted on.. we put the tranny on bolted it up and ran into a problem. the "long" starter bolt isn't even close to the hole made on the adapter plate. the short bolt and the starter fit fine but as for the second bolt, not a chance in lining up.... im using a cable LS tranny on this swap, and it seems to me a b series tranny is a b series tranny, if everything else lines up why not the starter...... is there that big of a difference in the starter slot between b series trannys????

I thought there was something with the qsd kit the replaces that starter bolt?

 

doesnt the starter bolt supplied have to go the opposite way? you have to put it through the plate before you bolt it to the trans ?
