Default Seriously Headlight help needed

On my GSR i have the Black Housing Halo lights off ebay, for 98+
I was cleaning my bay, with chemtool b12, and if you know what that is, you know its the strongest **** on the market..
Some of it got on my driverside headlight and high beam, and its like they're all fogged now, i'm assuming it ate the plastic, i got a bunch of difference **** and tried to like scrub it off, didn't work.
I was told to get 2000 grit wetsand and some 3m rubbing compound and buff it out..
I'm debeting if i should just go ahead and buy another driver side.. i dunno.

Either start higher and work your way down to 2000 then polish or get a new light. I myself am very lazy.
