Headlight Streaks / groves
This is similar to the hazy headlight question.
On majority of the honda 2000 and below the headlights are not clear, rather they have lines/groves from the factory that distort and clouds the lights.
My question is that since no after market headlights are made for delsols and im not wasting my money to tailor another hondas lights to it, is it possible to remove the clear part of the headlight and 'sand' away all the groves and such and end up with a crystal clear headlight cover? [i know how to remove the lense... oven, just wondering if there is an easy way to clear them]

Re: Headlight Streaks / groves (deadlock32)
you might be able to do it, i have taken all the molding marks from my s10 taillights. the little letters on the brake lights. i took them down with sandpaper starting with 400 grit then working my way up to 2000 and using a polish and wax with a buffer and they are smooth. now i dont know if this will work on a clear lens but you might want to get one del sol light from ebay or something or a junkyard and try it out

ok, fine. Remember to also answer the questions. I well aware of what can happen by removing the oem groves in the lights, I am wondering if its even possible to remove them.

You can remove the grooves while still keeping the nipples. If IL does not do headlight inspections then you can remove the nipples too. But it may be harder to remove the nipples.
What you should do is find some old headlights from a junkyard and practice removing the grooves.
