Default Real J's and Amuse Exhaust? *More Pics Added*

Copy and pasted from another local forum. So a couple weeks back I was searching Craigslist for a header and came upon an ad advertising a J's Header and "cat back exhaust". Found out it looked pretty close to an Amuse. So I picked it up for a good price. I posted it on a local forum and was told the J's Header was a rep since the welds looked bad and J's nvr made a 4-1 design. Is this true? I couldv'e swore I've seen em around. Tmr night i'll take more pics of the J's badge and more pics of the welds. Also does anyone know the model of the Amuse? R1 or R1000? I can vouch for the ehaust being Titanium as this thing is light as fug. Literally 1 hand can light the entire 1 peice. This is going on a DC2R. Thanks

Heres some pics:

J's DID make a 4-1 header. whoever tells you otherwise is wrong and lying.

a friend of mine had one, but I can't give you any definitive methods of telling if it's genuine or not, sorry.

The welds I can see on the head flange do look like crap, but it's possible the thing was repaired poorly at some point.

I bet that exhaust will make your ears bleed.

That is the same ebay special 4-1 I used to have on my GSR, I believe it was $250 shipped (and that was 4 years ago). It held up just fine, but definitely NOT J's.

You can differentiate a real J's header by the bevelling on the flange. Later J's header designs had it for sure, but the early ones (originally made by M&M Honda) usually did not have the bevelling on the edges. Also J's doesn't use a 1/2" flange....they went a tad thinner for weight purposes.

That said, that doesn't look at all like a real J's header at all. The exhaust on the other hands appears to be an authentic Amuse piece. Bling no doubt, but absurdly loud.

Whatever it is, it's gonna blow out ear drums! Almost no kinks in that whole setup

ya know whats really funny, my EVO has a full 3" turbo back exhaust with test pipe and it's almost as quiet as stock and definitely quieter than my R.

Got some more pics:

Any ideas on the model of the Amuse?
The badge pics should help verify the J's.
