My boy just gave me the complete front and back seats from his EVO.. I wonder how hard is it to convert it into my hatch. Currently I have del sol seats in my car, but am I able to swap the brackets over to the EVO seats and drop it in? If you can install forum, please copy and paste or from any site that someone have done this before... I seen it happen in integra, so I know there's a way. Just need more info... You may have to fab up your own rails. Who knows though, Take the EG rails and see if there is any way they will line up.

 

I have Evo 3 front seats in my EG.

I just bought some Recaro super low seat rails for an EG and they bolted straight in.

 

Is there any way you can get me the parts # off that rail you have? I was planning to get some brackets fab, also I really want them super low. My boy told me that they may sit really high in an EG. Therefore, anyone have a part # for the recaro super low bracket will definitely do it for me.

Anyone else out there have convert the evo seats in their civic? I'm sure I am not the only person who would want to put those hot seats in a hatcback. Any ideas will help.. thanks

Those don't adjust. I think the recaro ones mentioned before do.

 

There's no way it'll fit 92-00. EG rails are different from EK ones. The inside rear hole won't line up.

I wonder what this guy was thinking when he posted this.

Anyways, the Evo seats are not like the SRDs where you can use OEM JDM ITR rails to put them in. You'll most like need to cut off the brackets from the Evo seats and weld in brackets from EG rails.

 

He was talking about the picture of the rails which say they will fit Civics from 1992-2000.

All Recaro's i have dealt with have the same mounting points which is 4 bolts on the front and 2 at the back which all these rails show.

All you need to do is take off the old rails, bolt these on and install. You will also have adjustment

Is there any other site you know that is in US where I able to pick it up instead of Japan. Those rails looks like what exactly I am looking for. I e-mailed memory fab and jhpusa and hoping they can get me the good one where both rails will lock instead of the vision one super low where they only lock one side of the rail. Anyways, I hope I can get more info on the memory fab one such as price for both and will they sit super low like the vision one, which I hope for. Any ideas about memory fab both front seat rails for ctr recaro or jdm itr recaro for bottom mount?
