AIT code wont go away(help a ninja out)

i have been trouble shooting this damn car for about ever now and i can not get all the check codes to go away. the last one is the intake air temp. sensor. i have replaced the sensor itself but really dont know any other way to fix this one. is there an easy way to find out if there is something else wrong?

Check whether the connector or any of the IAT sensor wires are damaged.

check it at the ECU, not sure the year, make or model of your car but if you dont have some kind of reference signal at the ecu from the sensor there is a break/short in the wire. Worst case, wire straight from the ECU to the sensor....
